Bible Verse of The Day: Proverbs 2:3
Whenever you are able, do good to people who need help (NCV).
American King James Version (AKJV) – Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it.
Amplified Bible (AMP) – Withhold not good from those to whom it is due [its rightful owners], when it is in the power of your hand to do it. [Rom. 13:7; Gal. 6:10.]

Don’t tell your neighbor “Maybe some other time” or “Try me tomorrow” when the money’s right there in your pocket. Don’t figure ways of taking advantage of your neighbor when he’s sitting there trusting and unsuspecting.

Thoughts on Today’s Bible Verse:
Whenever you see someone in need of your help and it is within your capacity to do it for the person and you don’t do it, you’re simply telling God that you don’t need his blessings.
God didn’t bless you in order for you to conserve them. But rather you’re blessed to be a blessing. By refusing to give you’re indirectly telling God to make you a receiver instead of giver that you should be, and you that it is more blessed to give than to receive.
I showed you in all things that you should work as I did and help the weak. I taught you to remember the words Jesus said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ” Acts 20:35
Jesus is compassionate, merciful, Liberal, humble, kind etc. We are expected to be like him and not stingy, heartless and hard hearted. Be giver and not just a receiver. when you give you receive, but If you don’t give how would you receive?
Some people give much but get back even more. Others don’t give what they should and end up poor. Proverbs 11:24
