Reflection

Honor your father and mother is the first commandment with promise; then the next verse says: that it may be well with you, and that you may live long on earth. Ephesians 6:2-3

In order words, dishonor your Father and mother, and it shall not be well with you, and you will die untimely, you will not live long on earth.

Curses are a form of dishonor, disobedience is also a form of dishonor. As you will not disobey or curse the parents that you honor.

The blessings of honoring our parents cannot be overemphasized, also the curses from disobedience to our parents cannot be numbered. It’s a life of struggle generally.

Their light will be turned to darkness, so will everything around them will become dark. Honor your parents and it shall be well with you and all of your endeavors.
