Everyone can call the name of Jesus Christ, but the name of Jesus Christ will only answer to those who as being given license to the name.
In the scripture before it (11), the Bible says; He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
In verse 12 which is our main focus for today it says: but as many that will believe and receive him into their hearts, he gives the right to become the children of God.
It does not matter whether you are tall, or short, black or white, rich or poor, Just believe and receive him into your heart and you will be given power and the right to become a child of God.
That right also include access to the Name of Jesus Christ which is above every other name, and the power in the name of Jesus Christ will begin to answer to you.
Prayer
Lord Jesus,
I believe that you came in the flesh and died for my sins, and after three days you rose again, and you have been highly exalted and given a name that is above every other name.
That at the mention of your name, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that you are Lord.
I receive you into my heart, and I believe in your personality.
Take the stage of my life and have your way, lead me every step of the way, teach me where I need to be thought. Let your will always triumph over mine, make me a vessel unto honor and glory that is mete for your use at all times in Jesus Name, Amen.
