Reflection
There’s no reward in being fearful and timid, but there are countless rewards in being confident and courageous.
Confidence and courage has a way of bringing you to the door steps of opportunities. When you are confident and bold it makes you fearless.
God told Joshua to be courageous and strong because he couldn’t have possibly led the people been fearful and timid. Joshua 1:6-9
The disciples who were once timid became bold after the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
They preached with boldness even after been arrested severally. To the extent of the getting the pharisees worried that they couldn’t stop them. Acts 4:1-31, and Acts 5:17-42
Be strong and courageous, if your faith and hope is truly in God and not a man. He has never failed and will never fail.
Prayer
Dear Father,
I know that you have not given me the spirit of fear, but power, love, and a sound mind 2 Timothy 1:7.
Therefore I resist every spirit of fear and timidity. Holy Spirit baptize me afresh with the spirit of faith, boldness, and courage.
I triumph over fear, with the spirit of faith. Amen
