Reflection
Dominion should be a natural phenomenon to human race because it was bestowed on us at creation.
You should not struggle to have dominion because it’s been given to us at creation. But the question however is, Is this a reality in the lives of everyone? The answer is simply “No” and this is because man sold his dominion to the devil through disobedience.
This now leads us to the necessity of redemption. It is only redemption that can restore dominion to man.
When a man is redeemed from sin, he is redeemed completely. This is why Jesus Christ said we must be born again, John 3:3.
To access dominion, you must surrender your to Christ.
If you are already born again, you have dominion by virtue of being a new creature in Christ. Claim, receive, and exercise your dominion.
Prayer
Lord Jesus,
Today I surrender my all to you, I accept you as my Lord and Saviour.
Come into my life and dwell forever, write my name in the book of life and cancel my name from the book of death.
From today, I am born again. Therefore, I receive my dominion.
Or
Lord Jesus,
I know I have gone back to the works of flesh. But today, I rededicate my life to you. I am sorry for allowing the cares of this world to get me choked up.
Please forgive me and accept me back. Cancel my name from the book of death and rewrite my name in the book of life.
You are my Lord and Saviour and I believe in you.
