Verse of The Day
Amplified Bible (AMP) – Ecclesiastes 5:1 KEEP YOUR foot [give your mind to what you are doing] when you go [as Jacob to sacred Bethel] to the house of God. For to draw near to hear and obey is better than to give the sacrifice of fools [carelessly, irreverently] too ignorant to know that they are doing evil. [Gen. 35:1-4; Exod. 3:5.]

Reflection
God regards our heartfelt service than our offerings.
The essence of going to the house of God is for fellowship, worship, and service.
Therefore, listening and learning is of more importance than your offerings and sacrifices.
You go to the house of God casual without expecting to receive, you will come back casual without receiving anything.
Go in with your mind prepared for fellowship and expectant, and you will surely receive and be refreshed.
Prayer
Dear Lord,
My mind is receptive, I receive fresh words each time I go into your presence.
Let every moment I spend in your presence give me a fresh word that draws me closer and closer to you.
