Spitting – Mark 8:22-25

And they came to Bethsaida. And some people brought to him a blind man and begged him to touch him. Mark 8:22

Spitting – John 9:1-7

As he passed by, he saw a man blind from birth. And his disciples asked him, Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind? John 9:1-2

Jesus answered, It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might be displayed in him. John 9:3

We must work the works of him who sent me while it is day; night is coming, when no one can work. John 9:4

What can we learn from Jesus healing the blind men?

The blind men who got their sight restored in the scriptures above all have one thing in common, which is faith.

The bible says in

 Hebrews 11:6 - But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

You need faith to be able to receive anything from God. Their faith made them dogged. When they were asked to keep calm they screamed even the more. Don’t be silent in that situation, open your mouth and cream to your maker. Sometimes, some situations needs desperation, how desperate are you praying for that change?

Jesus knew what they wanted but He asked them what they wanted, and they were very specific: that we may see, one common answer.

What do you want? Be specific, and have faith, and it will surely come to pass, no matter how long it stays. Don’t lose hope. Jesus’ compassion can be moved a lot faster with a radical faith, like the men mentioned above.
