Lessons From The Different Ways Jesus Healed The Blind
What can we learn from Jesus healing the blind men?
The blind men who got their sight restored in the scriptures above all have one thing in common, which is faith.
The bible says in
Hebrews 11:6 - But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
You need faith to be able to receive anything from God. Their faith made them dogged. When they were asked to keep calm they screamed even the more. Don’t be silent in that situation, open your mouth and cream to your maker. Sometimes, some situations needs desperation, how desperate are you praying for that change?
Doint aassume that God knows, This is the biggest mistake a lot of Christians make. God has given us will and choice, even though He can just do whatever He wants. But He has given us the power of decision.
I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: Deuteronomy 30:19
Jesus knew what they wanted but He asked them what they wanted, and they were very specific: that we may see, one common answer.
What do you want? Be specific, and have faith, and it will surely come to pass, no matter how long it stays. Don’t lose hope. Jesus’ compassion can be moved a lot faster with a radical faith, like the men mentioned above.
