Reflection

All we are and will ever be is in him. We were not created to stand on our own but rely on him (God).

If God had the intention of the of making us so that we can do what ever we like, whether it is good bad as long as it pleases us then there won’t been sin or repentance, but God created us for himself and that is why we do not have the capacity to stand all by ourselves.

Each time we try to depend our own strength we incur the wrath of God. It is only in him that we are complete.

On our own we can do nothing. Each time we lean on our own understanding we are bound to fail. That’s why Proverbs 3:5-6 says: Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
